Kindergarden
After the bags of food
donation to food donations to the make a difference foundation thing went by so
fast and the process took weeks to get everything done and turned in on time we
took a moment to appreciate the ability to do this for these families without
these donations these families wouldn’t have had the same Easter. It was nice helping them out we are having a
blast getting to know and helping out our community. As we help the community
we have being having new families coming in into our church with the fast
growing church they always need someone in the nursery or someone to teach the
children.
So I thought about
these experiences and I decided to help a kindergarten class its being a long
time since I’ve helped one but the experience was amazing I’ve always liked
children so for me it wasn’t that hard the children were wonderful they came
right up to me and started asking questions. By snack time they wanted me to go
out and play with them so I did we played basketball and that kept them busy
for a long part of snack time rhe other part they were eating and for those who
had fruits and veggies they would get a sticker.
As we went back in I
worked with a child who had special needs it took a lot longer to teach him
then other students so with the teachers permission we went to the back and I
was able to teach him how to subtract and he got the hang of it. The next time
I came in the teacher and his mother was
impressed that he got it so fast. She said that they have being trying to teach
him for weeks now and he still had trouble.
That day went pretty much the same as the day before but that day I
prtte much spend one on one time with each child helping them learn whatever
they were the weakest on he was amazed how the listen to me and would pay
attention and not go off topic.

You seem to rely enjoy working with kids! I bet its a really nice change in pace to take a step back and enjoy the simple things again. It seems to have help you reflect on the importance of the social issues that we face which is something that we should all educate ourselves about.
I feel like you have a lot of fun and it seems like you are really helping the kids. I can relate to helping with the kids with where i volunteered as well its not easy but still fun.
I admire how you're so willing to help these little kids with their work. Most of the time, I can't stand little kids, so I would never be able to do the work you're doing. Still, it's cool that you've so much fun and it sounds like the little kids really look up to you as a teenager. I realized that myself the other day when I talked to my neighbor's kids for a few minutes. It feels kind of weird, to be admired so much by younger people when we ourselves just feel like everyday normal people, don't you think? Anyway, I think it's great that you've found something you like to do that helps so many people.
So do you guys collect cans for your church and then give them out to the needy? Also, I think it is cool that ou can keep up with kinderdardens because I know that some kids are hard to handle. It is pretty cool that you were able to teach the students about math muych quicker. That shows that you were able to make a difference in their lives. Connecting to my experience, I helped out with elders. However, reading through all the stories and experiences, I think age does not even matter. No matter how old we are, it is always great to have someone to be willing to help us out, be our new friend and create a bond with us. Good job on your work(=
