Crazy Work Outs

This time when we went to the studio I was super excited. The little girl that I wrote about in my last post her name is Yssabell. She’s about five I was really excited to try to dance or teach them again but this time they did more of the work out practices. Where they work on there core and arm muscles and leg muscles. I honestly didn’t realize how many muscles you use while they danced. The last times we were at the studio I thought I was just sore from soccer the day because it was so fun and I didn’t feel it until this time.
I do soccer and gymnastics for like 3 months I thought those work outs were hard. Those work outs that those girls go through are crazy and the fact that they are so little and doing it. We did a lot of things I had done before we stretched for about twenty minutes, in soccer you stretch for like five at practice and go into it. This was way different after the stretches we did other work out things that have names in Hawaiian but don’t really translate. One of the ones I thought was super hard was where you walked like a duck but you had to keep your arms straight out. Keeping your arms out you would think would be the simplest thing but it was actually really hard because they get sore from being like that. When we took a break I couldn’t wait to sit down. Its so tiring and the practice wasn’t even close to being over.
The second part of the practice all the little girls and older girls put the entire dance together since it wasn’t the first time they had tried this and the little girls had gotten better it worked really good. This is the part where Alicia and I got to just watch. It was weird because even though we were standing off to the side we kept on moving incase the little ones got stuck but they didn’t, for the most part. They kept repeating the dance over and over again. It looked really good by the time we left.

seriously, kids never get tired.. they're like little energizer bunnies! and it sounds like you had an interesting experience, i'm glad you got to do something athletic because i know you're quite the athlete yourself ;) good job!
