church fundraising

Its time again to decide where i would like to do some volunteer hours. I was thinking if i should try something different or if i should do one of the other things ive done already. This time i worked at the same location but did something different, at holy spirit church. This time i worked a booth at the festival. I did this with some of my friends just so i wouldnt be that bored.

What i had to do at the booth was try and sell food for a fundraiser for the church. We were trying to get some money to help the school out. We had many booths throughout the holy spirit parking lot. We had food, games, and a stage, for singing and dancing. Working at the booth was fun because its good to know you are serving for a good cause.

What ive learned at this fundraiser is that its jot easy to keep up the pace. You need to be quick and prepared so that the line doesnt back up. I also learned that doing something for others is a good feeling. Everyone is having a good time while feeding the hungry church goers and helping the holyspirit church school.
