"Born This Way"

The song "Born This Way", by Lady Gaga is relevant because it came out recently on February 11, 2011. Also, it is popular, especially when it first came out, connects to a lot of people, and talks about a controversy that has been around for a long time. This song goes against a trend that people should be a certain way according to their gender, nationality, religion, etc. This trend and controversy has caused people to hide who they are and do things that are not true to themselves. "Born This Way" goes against the ideology that a mad or woman should be a certain person in our society. This song shows us that everyone is different in their own way and that we are perfect no matter what path we choose in our lives. Also, it reminds our society that a male or a female can be gay or lesbian and love who they choose to love and still be a human being and deserve equal respect. Additionally, this song breaks the stereotype that if a person is gay, lesbian, or bi that they are "weird" and people automatically assuming what kind of person they are and their way of living. Finally, this work show that America does not give equal treatment to people who are different from what they are expected to be and that America does not have an open mind about the different views and values of people.

The song "Born This Way" relays a message that people who have different orientations and nationalities deserve the same equality as the "normal" people. Also, it assures our society that we are all normal and perfect in our own way no matter what path we choose and decisions we make about who are and what define us. Lady Gaga wants to tell everyone that no one should pretend to be someone who they are not just because they are afraid of what other people will say and will react. We are all different and have different beliefs and values that determines who each one of us are. In summary, this songs just reassures people that no matter what you are, we are all Born This Way.

"Born This Way" has helped, not only the bisexual citizens of our society to accept who they are, but the rest of the society to learn that the people who we call "weird," because of their orientation and nationality, are humans too and deserve the same equality. This song is telling all of us that we are all perfect in our own way and there is nothing to be ashamed of about what we choose to be and what we believe in. In the song, Lady Gaga sings "Don't hide yourself in regret. Just love yourself and you're set," because she wants to tell people that we should not have to pretend to be someone we are not and that we should be the first one to love ourself if we expect other people to accept us. Also, Lady Gaga wants to relay to our society that a person who is "different" should not be judged in any way because like any of us, they deserve to live freely. Like Lady Gaga points out, "No matter gay, straight, or bi, lesbian, transgendered life,I'm on the right track baby, I was born to survive." To sum it up, "Born This Way" is a song that talks about what our society should be. A community that accept everyone by who they are with the same treatment. It encourages everyone to be themselves and accept who they are "'Cause God makes no mistakes."

This is so true, because Lady GaGa is really original to me. She really does stand out from the typical Britney Spears, or those singers who are really skinny and concerned with their looks. Lady GaGa is not afraid to be herself, truely admiring.

I agree completely with this analysis. The fact that Lady Gaga can look and act the way she feels and to inspire people along the way is amazing. She's an independent and original role model who influences many people in society today!
