Being a Princess is hard during this recession.

Disney movie "Princess and the Frog" represents the "From Rags to Riches" ideology. This movie's moral is that you can come from any background and be successful in life. This stands for how the recession is today. Many people are waiting around in the unemployment lines or working multiple jobs just to support themselves or their family. I believe this movie keeps children looking forward to being successful, but they are truly unaware of the troubles their parents or guardians go through everyday to keep their children in school, to keep their stomachs full, to keep a roof over their heads and to keep clothing on their back. Everyone wants to fulfill the "American Dream" but most people now of days with the economy and recession effecting the cost of money makes it hard to succeed with their life long goals, wishes, and dreams. People should keep their heads up and never quit trying to succeed but there are definetly people that have majored in a subject in college but they never get the job they're looking for. For example, just because you know how to cook, doesn't mean you'll be a chef. Money is starting to be worth a lot less than it was before and the prices are going up on everything.

"The Princess and the Frog" came out in December of 2009. In this movie, a young woman, Tatiana from New Orleans, Louisiana, has two jobs and is struggling to fulfill her life long dream of owning her own resteraunt. She goes on an extreme adventure after Prince Naveen who is a frog at the time, kisses her and she turns into a frog because she was not a princess. In the end she finally owns the resteraunt she has been waiting for her whole life. This shows that with hard work comes reward. I believe this is a great childrens movie but the message behind it is not well understood by the children watching it.

I believe this movie makes it look really easy to succeed in life. But it does give a person a motivation. With hard work comes reward. There are people that go out into the world after school or after college or even after dropping out, not knowing what to expect. But if you work hard most or all your life, you will be sucessful. Believe in yourself and keep learning and remembering your duty at work and in life. Just because the economy is bad and it's hard to find a job now of days, you should never stop trying. Try your best and hardest and you will succeed.

I agree with the concept that with hard work, you will succeed. Yes, some people do not always agree with that concept, but it makes sense. You want to strive for something that you want and you work for it in order to gain it. This movie explains the concept well and it makes sense that despite being in recession, you can still pursue your goals as long as you try your best and work hard.
